Wynn Macau to open on September 6, 2006

Macau, September 5, 2006 – Wynn Macau, the first resort in Asia developed by Wynn Resorts, will open in Macau, SAR on September 6, 2006. Wynn Macau happily welcomes approximately 5,000 employees to its worldwide family of over 9,000.

"My number one priority is to take care of the Wynn Macau team," said Mr. Steve Wynn of his latest flagship resort. "Only then, can we begin to offer the very best service for our guests."

Wynn Macau believes that its employees will create a memorable experience for guests who will come back again and again. The Wynn staff will help transform Macau into a top travel and leisure destination.

Wynn Macau is an integrated resort, offering gaming combined with a deluxe hotel, gourmet cuisine, designer shops, a tranquil spa, and a dramatic performance lake.

Each of the 600 guest rooms and suites in the Wynn signature bronze tower are artistically designed with plush appointments including spacious bathrooms, Italian linens and flat screen televisions in both the living and bathroom areas. All suites include private massage rooms. 

Food lovers will appreciate the culinary treats available at Wynn Macau's six fine dining venues, led by a team of top chefs specializing in Italian, Chinese and Japanese cuisines. 

For those who enjoy shopping, Bulgari, Chanel, Fendi, Giorgio Armani, Prada, Tiffany & Co., Wynn Signature and Rolex are showcased for the first time in Macau. Additional luxury boutiques include Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton and Piaget. The Rolex store is the brand's second store in the world and the only other store is located at Wynn Las Vegas. 

The pace and excitement of Wynn Macau make its spa and salon perfect sanctuaries for relaxation and pampering. In addition to "Timeless Escapes" packages for overall wellness, more than 45 luxurious spa therapies are available.

Las Vegas-style entertainment is carried through the casino, with 100,000 square feet of space including approximately 220 gaming tables, 380 slot machines, VIP rooms and Wynn Resorts' exclusive "Sky Casino" overlooking the Macau skyline.

The unique entertainment continues outdoors, with a lake featuring musically choreographed shows with dramatic special effects. 

On the evening of September 5, the people of Macau and visitors will be treated to a fireworks extravaganza crafted by the world famous Grucci family of New York. Set to be the largest fireworks show in the history of Macau, the performance will feature more than 40,000 firework devices.  

Due to anticipated crowd and related safety control measures, guests under 18 years of age will not be permitted during the first week of operations.
