Macao, October 10, 2026 – Wynn is always committed to supporting community service activities to show care for vulnerable populations and underprivileged families. This year, Wynn is pleased to continue supporting the Welfare Shop Project of Macau Holy House of Mercy (SCMM) by donating MOP300,000 and sponsoring the distribution of food hampers to 371 underprivileged families from the General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macau, Macau Federation of Trade Unions, Association of Parents of the People with Intellectual Disabilities of Macau and more. To date, Wynn has facilitated this meaningful SCMM initiative for 14 consecutive years.
Ms. Linda Chen, President, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wynn Macau, Limited presented a MOP300,000 cheque to SCMM at the donation ceremony, which was received by Mr. António José de Freitas, President of the Board of Trustees of SCMM. Dignitaries attending the ceremony included Mr. José Ricardo das Neves, President of the Supervisory Committee of SCMM; Mr. Leong Heng Kao, President of the Supervisory Committee of the General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macau; Mr. Choi Kam Fu, Vice President of the Macau Federation of Trade Unions; Ms. Gisela Nunes, Secretary General of SCMM; Ms. Jasmine Cheong, Vice President of Community and Government Relations of Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace; and Mr. Thomas Lau, Vice President of Human Resources of Wynn Palace.
On the day of the event, around 40 Wynn volunteers assisted with the distribution of food hampers containing rice, noodles, canned food, edible oil, and other daily necessities to the 371 underprivileged families at the SCMM Welfare Shop, helping to ease their financial pressures while delivering care and support.
Established in 2013, the Welfare Shop Project of SCMM provides short-term food assistance to families with financial difficulties caused by inflation. By continuously donating funds and suppliesin support of the Welfare Shop Project since its inception, Wynn aims to lift underprivilegedmembers of the community and benefit more people in a practical way.
