Recently, the company hosted the "Wynn's Shining Talents Ceremony 2026" to kick off the Wynn Local Development Program 2026, a collaboration run with the Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) of the Macao SAR Government that covers 13 sub-programs, and to witness the outstanding achievements made by the previous cohort of trainees. With a focus on nurturing local talent, the Wynn Local Development Program offers trainees a clear and foreseeable path for career advancement. Over the past two years, the program has recruited a total of 169 local trainees and achieved an overall retention rate of over 80%, which reflects the program's appeal and stability. To date, 40 trainees have successfully graduated and received a promotion, while others are undergoing structured on-the-job training and are expected to complete the program starting this year. The Wynn Local Development Program not only adopts a "Hire and Train" approach but also sets out diverse and trainee-friendly admission requirements, waiving relevant job experience or bachelor's degree requirements for certain fields to broaden career options and advancement opportunities for local talent. Trainees will embark on a journey of specialized training for 12-36 months across departments such as hotel services, food & beverage, security and facilities, gaining professional expertise through systematic training for gradual career promotion. This year, the program features two additional areas: information technology and customer relationship management, offering courses on data analysis, system management and smart operations, as well as membership management, big data application, and customer experience strategy, injecting new momentum into the smart tourism and digital urban development of Macao.
In addition, Wynn is officially rolling out the inaugural Wynn Management Foundation Program this year, offering a 12-month curriculum in management skills and leadership development to more than 80 local team members who are high-potential leadership talent selected from the food & beverage and hotel departments at manager, assistant manager, supervisor or equivalent levels. This initiative aims to broaden local talent's international perspective and comprehensively enhance their capabilities in personal leadership and team management, while also expanding the talent pool for the high-quality development of Macao's integrated tourism and leisure sector and further strengthening the competence of the local management backbone.
As an industry leader, Wynn regards talent cultivation as a cornerstone of its long-term sustainable development. Since 2015, Wynn has introduced structured training programs, successfully fostering a new generation of hospitality professionals in areas such as food & beverage, hotel operations, and facilities management. These initiatives have actively contributed to the thorough elevation of Macao's overall tourism services. Moving forward, Wynn will continue working with all sectors of society to nurture a new generation of industry professionals with innovation, competitiveness, and a global vision through diverse training models and international practice platforms. With these efforts, the company aims to provide strong talent support for Macao's tourism and leisure sector, driving the city's moderate economic diversification, and sustainable, high-quality growth.
