Promoting Diverse Occupational Training to Foster Talent for Industry Development
Macao, August 1, 2025 – Wynn has been continually facilitating the growth of young talent and actively providing diverse professional skill training and career development platforms for local talent and fresh graduates. Yesterday (July 31), Wynn held the "Wynn New Talent GO 2025" at the Grand Theater of Wynn Palace, featuring trainees of the "Wynn Local Development Program 2025", apprentices who have completed the "Culinary Apprentice Program", and youth students who have participated in Wynn's internship programs. By constantly hosting various training programs, Wynn hopes to assist Macao in fostering talent and providing diverse career choices.

Wynn is running the "Wynn Local Development Program" with DSAL once again this year, covering specialized training in the hotel, food and beverage, facilities management, and other departments. The program recruited 29 trainees in the first half of this year for various positions including Housekeeping Assistant Supervisors, Public Area Assistant Supervisors, Culinary Apprentices, and Front Office Supervisors. By offering a professional learning journey spanning 12-24 months with a "Hire and Train" approach, the program provides Macao residents aspiring to join the hotel and F&B industries with systematic skill training and practical work exposure, thus laying a solid foundation for their career.
DSAL and Wynn representatives officiated at the Commencement Ceremony of "Wynn Local Development Program 2025" and presented souvenirs to trainees of the "Wynn Local Development Program" and the youth internship programs. Wynn also presented graduation certificates to the 14 culinary apprentices who joined the apprentice program last year. All the apprentices who graduated have been officially promoted to the Commis position and are working in the Culinary Department of various restaurants in Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace, joining Wynn's 5-star family as a new generation of culinary talent, and this is a true testament to Wynn's commitment and achievements in talent cultivation. Furthermore, Wynn has actively participated in the Summer Internship Program, namely the "youth internship program" and the "preemployment practical experience program", organized by Macao SAR Government this year, providing 21 young students with training and practical experience to help them with better career planning, especially enabling secondary students to explore their career paths early and raising their motivation and sense of achievement in vocational skill acquisition.
Over the years, Wynn has been actively supporting the Macao SAR Government in advancing the overall strategy of appropriate economic diversification and vocational talent cultivation. Wynn has been continually increasing investment of resources in vocational skill training, such as running culinary courses with technical and vocational schools and offering internships and workplace experiences to tertiary students, and lending career planning support to attract more young people to study under vocational skill programs and develop into technical talent. With these initiatives, Wynn has been nurturing a sustainable team of professional talent for Macao and providing staunch support in humans resources for the construction of a World Center of Tourism and Leisure.
