Facilitating Macao's cultural tourism with Jingdezhen Porcelain as a cultural link
Macao, April 22, 2026 – Wynn is actively supporting the "Experience Macao Roadshow in Madrid" held by the Macao Government Tourism Office between April 17 and 21. During the fiveday event held at Puente del Rey, a pedestrian area in the center of the Spanish capital, Wynn is presenting Macao as a unique, multifaceted destination for both cultural tourism and business through multiple online and offline channels. The initiative aims to showcase Macao's dynamic "tourism +" offerings, attract more European visitors to the city, and help develop international tourist markets.
Centering on "Macao as a gateway for Sino-Western cultural exchange", Wynn has showcased the thematic concept of "Hello China, Hello Macao – The Odyssey of Jingdezhen Porcelain: A Heritage Voyage from Macao to the World" at the Madrid roadshow, enabling local residents to explore the story and historical significance of Macao's role in the globalization of Chinese porcelain through an immersive light-and-shadow experience. The roadshow also featured Jingdezhen porcelain plates, vividly showcasing China's world-leading porcelain artistry and cultural heritage. Wynn also introduced Xiushui fried tofu, a Jiangxi specialty, to the roadshow, sharing authentic Jiangxi flavors with local residents. With these efforts, Wynn aims to present to the international market Macao's comprehensive appeal as a destination integrating "tourism with culture, dining, MICE, art, and premium events." With culture as a link and art as a medium, Wynn seeks to attract European travelers to embark on a more profound and enriched cultural journey in Macao. This roadshow not only highlights Macao's unique role in promoting Chinese culture overseas and fostering mutual appreciation between Chinese and foreign civilizations, but also demonstrates Wynn's exemplary value in facilitating high-end cultural tourism and international cultural transmission.
Furthermore, Wynn has prepared a series of accommodation and dinning offers for the Madrid roadshow to encourage extended stay in Macao. These offerings include luxurious accommodation packages, premium dining credit privileges, and dining vouchers for Gourmet Pavilion, Wynn's new world-class culinary destination. Participants also had the chance to receive delicate ceramic key ornaments crafted in Jingdezhen, imbued with Eastern aesthetics, along with other exquisite small gifts.
