UNITY II

Macao, October 16, 2026 — Following the success of its second edition in March, Wing Lei Bar & Friends returns for its third installment. From October 29–30, six celebrated bars from South Korea and China will take over the counter at Wing Lei Bar, Wynn Palace for two consecutive nights of guest shifts.

As the first edition of the series since the launch of UNITY II – the latest evolution of Wing Lei Bar's signature menu – Volume 3 centers on the theme "Old Soul, New Spirit". The curated lineup features visionary bars that draw inspiration from heritage ingredients, retro subcultures, and classic traditions, reimagining them for a new generation of drinkers.

At the heart of "Old Soul, New Spirit" is the dialogue between heritage and revival – taking foundation traditions, from the timber rafters of a Korean Hanok to the nostalgia of a 1990s Seoul alleyway or the traditions of the classic American cocktail bar, and giving them a modern second life through fresh technique, design and imagination. This philosophy mirrors UNITY, a menu built on the belief that the best ideas are passed on, shared and remade. Across two evenings, six guest bars take over the counter in succession, each for one hour:

Night 1: Thursday, October 29
The program opens on Thursday, October 29 with three bars from Seoul, each drawing inspiration from Korean heritage, nostalgia and cultural identity in its own distinctive way.

9:00 pm – Gong Gan (Seoul): Recognized at No. 74 on The 50 Best Bars Asia 2026 extended list, Gong Gan reinterprets the traditional Korean Hanok, preserving its elements and carrying that heritage into modern cocktails and small bites made from upcycled ingredients. Representing the bar is co-founder Willy Park, whose team is dedicated to developing the culture they inherited from previous generations and passing it on to the next.

10:00 pm – Antidote (Seoul): A prescription-inspired cocktail bar pairing signature cocktails with seasonal serves built on local, health-conscious ingredients. Owner-bartender Joseph Lee – who spent years at a five-star hotel bar in Canada before returning to South Korea to open Antidote –  brings transparency to the bar counter by sharing the craft behind every creation through behind-the-scenes videos and QR codes on his menus.

11:00 pm – Pine & Co (Seoul): Ranked No. 50 on The 50 Best Bars Asia 2024, Pine & Co draws inspiration from the flavors and memories of 1980s and 1990s Seoul. Representing the bar is co-founder Pat Park, who honed his craft under Jack Sotti at Boilermaker House in Melbourne before bringing those lessons home to Seoul. Fittingly, Sotti's Archive & Myth, featured in Wing Lei Bar & Friends Volume 2, later inspired UNITY II's Mythical Highball.

Night 2: Friday, October 30
On Friday, October 30, the spotlight turns to China, charting a journey from the country's northeast to its southwest.

9:00 pm – Flow Bar (Shenyang): An experimental bar and lab known for its custom mixology inspired by memories, emotions and everyday experiences. Behind the bar is manager Zee Wang, a proud Shenyang native who calls himself a "Ferryman of Flavor". For Zee, every cocktail carries its own story, and each one is a chance to add a splash of color to a guest's day.

10:00 pm – DEMI Bar (Qingdao): Reimagining the traditional cocktail experience through a retro-futuristic lens, founder Migo Zhang combines creative drinks with a sustainability-minded philosophy and modern approach to hospitality.

11:00 pm – NYPD (Kunming): Bringing the spirit of classic American cocktail bar to Southwest China, NYPD (short for Now You Pleasantly Drink) focuses on American spirits. Taking over the counter is founder Gibson, a veteran industry educator who has hosted more than 100 masterclasses and guest shifts across China.

UNITY II: A Menu Built from Friendship
Volume 3 also marks the first Wing Lei Bar & Friends edition since the launch of UNITY II led by Director of Bars Mark Lloyd. The evolution introduces six new cocktails and two new sections –  Shaken and Fizzes – to the bar's signature menu.

Inspired by collaborations, guest shifts and exchanges developed through Wing Lei Bar & Friends over the past two years, the refreshed menu translates encounters with bartenders, bars and cities into cocktails that celebrate connection and shared creativity. Among the new additions are Day Drinking, a tequila and melon sour first inspired by the Aruba Day Drink guest shift at Wing Lei Bar; and Spressy Colada, born over an espresso at Bar Sathorn in Bangkok.

True to the "Old Soul, New Spirit" philosophy, UNITY II also gives a fan-favorite signature a second life. Bananananana! returns as an unabashed celebration of banana, used as juice, dilution water, syrup and bitters, and served in a banana flask with an edible banana-flavored figure.

Collectible Campaign Continues
The series' signature collectible sticker campaign returns for Volume 3. Each guest bartender is featured on their own personalized, limited-edition sticker. Guests who order a cocktail at the guest shifts will receive a blind pack to collect and trade, transforming the event into an interactive social experience across two nights.

Wing Lei Bar & Friends Vol. 3 takes place at Wing Lei Bar, Wynn Palace, on October 29–30, 2026.
