Ms. Linda Chen then presented Mr. Chan Ka Leong with a commemorative certificate in gratitude for sharing his insights and experience in community service with the attendees.
The 3-day sharing session in celebration of the 15th anniversary of the WE Volunteer Team attracted participation from over 600 team members. While enhancing their understanding of community service, this session also inspired more members to actively engage in public welfare and voluntary work during their leisure time. In addition, Wynn invited UGAMM service centers to set up promotional booths in the back-of-house areas of Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace to introduce the “Peng On Tung” tele-assistance service, network for elderly living alone, and assistive devices for seniors. In July, August, and September, Wynn arranged for team members to attend various lifestyle-themed lectures at the UGAMM Ngai Chon Center. The lectures, which covered topics such as yoga, parent-child cooking, eco-friendly workshops, mental health, retirement planning, parent-child relationships, and understanding elderly assistive devices, aimed to encourage participants to show care for their family and friends, thus fostering a harmonious community atmosphere. In total, the aforesaid activities recorded over 2,000 participants.
Founded in 2010, the WE Volunteer Team has consistently upheld its mission of giving back to society and spreading care by actively motivating team members' participation in various volunteer services. The series of commemorative activities for the 15th anniversary aimed to facilitate social interaction and learning, continually enhance the quality of volunteer services, and promote the spirit of mutual assistance.
The sharing session concluded with a group photo of the guests, who collectively called on all sectors of society to continue supporting volunteer services and work together to build a warm and inclusive community.
