Wynn Supports Welfare Shop Project of Macau Holy House of Mercy for 13th Consecutive Year

Wynn donates MOP300 000 to support the Welfare Shop Project of SCMM

Macao, October 14, 2025 – Wynn has always been actively participating in social service activities to show care for vulnerable populations and underprivileged families. This year, Wynn is pleased to continue supporting the Welfare Shop Project of Macau Holy House of Mercy (SCMM) by donating MOP300,000 and sponsoring the distribution of food baskets to 375 underprivileged families from the General Union of Neighbourhood Associations of Macau, Macau Federation of Trade Unions, Association of Parents of the People with Intellectual Disabilities of Macau and more. Wynn has supported this meaningful SCMM Welfare Shop Project for 13 consecutive years.

Ms. Linda Chen, President, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wynn Macau, Limited presented a MOP300,000 donation cheque to SCMM at the donation ceremony, which was received by Mr. António José de Freitas, President of the Board of Trustees of SCMM. Official dignitaries attending the ceremony included Ms. Ng Sio Lai, President of the General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macau; Mr. Leong Wai Fong, Vice President and Secretary General of the Macau Federation of Trade Unions; Ms. Gisela Nunes, Secretary General of SCMM; Ms. Jasmine Cheong, Vice President of Community and Government Relations of Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace; and Mr. Thomas Lau, Vice President of Human Resources of Wynn.

Around 40 Wynn volunteers distributed food baskets containing rice, noodles, canned food, edible oil, and daily necessities to 375 underprivileged families at the SCMM Welfare Shop to reduce their daily burdens.  

Established in 2013, the Welfare Shop Project of SCMM provides short-term food assistance to families with financial difficulties caused by inflation. Wynn has continuously supported the Welfare Shop Project since its inception by donating funds or supplies to provide as much support as possible to underprivileged members of the community with the aim of benefiting more people in a practical way.
