Bolstering young people's integration into society through
summer internship experience
Macao, August 28, 2025 – With an unwavering focus on talent cultivation and development, Wynn has once again supported the "Summer Internship Program 2025" organized by the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) of the Macao SAR Government this year. By providing summer training and internship opportunities for young local students in July and August, Wynn aims to help them explore their career vision while also elevating their practical abilities and overall competence. Moreover, Wynn also organized the Wynn Teenager Exploration Day for team members' children, inspiring them on their academic and career paths through a series of experience activities and internships.
In support of the "Summer Internship Program 2025" run by DSEDJ this year, Wynn gave a total of 21 local senior high school and tertiary students an internship in core hotel operations departments. These departments included Human Resources, Front Office, Exhibition Center, Food & Beverage, Community and Government Relations, and the students were also arranged to participate in large-scale restaurant operations at Gourmet Pavilion. The practical experience extensively raised the students' occupational competence, communication and collaboration abilities, and laid a solid foundation for them to join the workforce in the future. All participating trainees completed their program successfully and have been awarded a certificate by Wynn in recognition of their outstanding performance.
In addition, Wynn held the Wynn Teenager Exploration Day for two days in mid-August. Extending the concept of workplace experience, Wynn invited 40 secondary students whose parents are Wynn team members to embark on an inspirational journey of career exploration. By taking a guided tour across various departments and interacting with the young management executives as they shared their experiences, the students gained a deeper understanding of the diverse aspects of the tourism and leisure industries while also experiencing Wynn's workplace atmosphere and team culture. Led by instructors and department heads, the students learned the practical work of different positions and gained better knowledge and experience of the hotel career.
The Wynn Teenager Exploration Day complements the Summer Internship Program organized by the Macao SAR Government and reflects Wynn's efforts to promote youth development and family harmony both internally and externally with a core focus on "experiential learning." This initiative not only demonstrates Wynn's sincere care for local youth and team members' families, but also exemplifies Wynn's proactive response to the social expectation of nurturing the next generation and continues to inject positivity into the Macao community.
