Wynn Macau to be sponsor of Andrew Lloyd Webber's stage spectacular
(Hong Kong/ Macau, August 23, 2007) Wynn Macau today announced its sponsorship of Andrew Lloyd Webber's award wining musical, CATS, proudly hosted by Macao Cultural Centre. Over four nights, on December 24, 25, 26 and 28, more than 4,000 local residents and visitors to Macau will have the opportunity to enjoy this impressive production already performed in over 26 countries.

Macau is the first stop in CATS China performance schedule, highlighting the city's reputation as a regional hub for excellence in performing arts. After visiting Macau, CATS, the longest continuously touring show in American theater history, will visit Guangzhou, Beijing, Wuhan, Chengdu, Dongguan and Shenzhen.
CATS premiered in 1982 at New London Theatre and has since received many industry accolades, including: 1981 Laurence Olivier award for Musical of the Year, the Evening Standard award for Best Musical, seven 1982/83 Tony awards including Best Musical, the Molière Prize for Best Musical in France and seven out of ten Dora Mavor Moore awards including Best Musical in Canada.
