Macao, September 3, 2025 – On the morning of September 3, Wynn held “Watch Live: Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War”. By inviting team members and their families and friends to watch the live broadcast together to remember history and honor martyrs with all people of the country, Wynn seeks to build a solid mental foundation for the safeguarding of peace, as well as promoting and carrying forward the indomitability of the Chinese nation and the great spirit of the war of resistance.
The live broadcast started on the morning of September 3. At the employee dining rooms in Wynn’s two hotel properties Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace, the company arranged for team members to watch live the commemoration held at Tiananmen Square in Beijing and listened to the important speech delivered by the General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People’s Republic of China, and Chairman of the PRC Central Military Commission, Xi Jinping. They then watched the live broadcast of the military parade, experienced the majestic strength of the military advancements in the modernized era, and fostered a collective sense of pride in the Chinese people.
Previously on August 26, the President, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wynn Macau, Limited, Ms. Linda Chen, led a group of 50 senior management executives and young team members from various departments to participate in the “For National Liberation and World Peace – Thematic Exhibition Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War" on the second day after its opening. Through the precious historical materials that recreated the arduous and heroic resistance of Chinese people against Japanese aggression during the war, this visit allowed Wynn team members, especially the younger generation, to gain a thorough understanding of the history of the Anti-Japanese War, the profound significance of the victory in the war, and the historical meaning and international contribution of the Anti-Japanese War as part of the World Anti-Fascist War. In doing so, Wynn hopes to inspire Macao youths to carry forward the national spirit and bravely shoulder the mission of the era in safeguarding national security and world peace.
