Wynn Care Foundations supports the Macao Black Bears team in joining the Asia Pacific Youth Basketball Tournament 2025

Macao, October 10, 2025 – With the support of the Wynn Care Foundation, the Macau Black Bears U16 Youth Team will compete as the only Macao team in the Asia Pacific Youth Basketball Tournament 2025 held in Taiwan, China from October 10 to 12. The Macao Black Bears team, comprising young players from mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao, is actively preparing for the event in the hope of showcasing the spirit of perseverance and teamwork of Macao’s youth in the international arena.

The Asia Pacific Youth Basketball Tournament features three categories of games participated in by teams from different countries and regions such as Japan, the Philippines, and Hong Kong, China. The Macao Black Bears team will represent Macao in the U16 category, competing alongside young players from across Asia. With this sponsorship, the Wynn Care Foundation aims to highlight the positive image and strength of Macao young athletes. The initiative also aims to promote sports as a medium for Macao teenagers to foster exchanges and friendships with their peers from across the Straits and the Asia-Pacific region and provide a platform for them to hone their skills and broaden their horizons on the international stage.

In addition to sports development, the Wynn Care Foundation has consistently supported impactful cross-strait youth cultural projects in recent years, striving to build diverse platforms for exchange. These efforts include hosting a cross-strait anti-Japanese war roving photo exhibition spanning five regions and establishing the Hengqin Vocational Practice and Training School and Cross-Strait Youth Center for Cultural Exchange.

From competitions on the basketball court to cultural and artistic exchanges, the Wynn Care Foundation has been continually realizing the philosophy of “promoting unity through sports and fostering bonds through culture,” supporting young people across the Straits to grow together through exchange and building a shared future through collaboration.
