XS Nightclub enters a bold new chapter with an architectural transformation that brings together opulence and thematic design influences.
The reimagined, award-winning venue features kinetic installations, custom audio and lighting technology designed and engineered exclusively for XS.
LAS VEGAS (Nov. 5, 2026) – This weekend, Wynn Nightlife celebrates the grand reopening of XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas, unveiling a complete reimagining of the iconic venue. The transformation ushers in a new chapter for XS, evolving the experience for a new generation while preserving the sense of fantasy and spectacle that has defined the nightclub since its debut 17 years ago. Located in the Encore Esplanade, the space pairs world-class design with cutting-edge technology. The grand reopening will be celebrated Nov. 5 through 8 with four nights of performances featuring RÜFÜS DU SOL [DJ set], The Chainsmokers, Calvin Harris and Diplo B2B HUGEL.
"The new XS is not a departure from its legacy. It's the next chapter of it," said Michael Wood, Vice President of Creative at Wynn Design & Development. "We're taking everything people remember about XS, the glamour, the fantasy, the sense of spectacle, and asking what those ideas mean for the next generation of nightlife."
At the heart of the design, XS comes to life in retro-futurist opulence, drawing inspiration from bold interpretations of the future across decades of visionary design. These thematic influences take shape through reflective brass, bronze and chrome, saturated color, sculptural forms and luminous surfaces, establishing a rich architectural aesthetic. Complementing these design elements, lighting, media and performance technology are seamlessly integrated into the surrounding environment.
Among the standout features of the newly transformed space is an extraordinary constellation of 1,200 kinetic pendants housed within sculptural gold structures overhead, allowing the architecture itself to shift in character throughout the night. A bespoke aperture centerpiece, textured gold-mirrored high-resolution LED screens and custom gold-finished audio and lighting systems further enhance the space. These details, which are individually designed, engineered and fabricated exclusively for Wynn, blend into the architecture, allowing the room to continually shift in mood and energy as the evening unfolds.
The DJ booth echoes the venue's retro-futurist design language, as mirrored gold finishes provide visual impact while its architectural composition delivers the versatility and functionality required for live entertainment. To further reinforce the venue's sonic identity, subwoofers and center-fill speakers are discreetly incorporated into the booth's structure, allowing sound to be experienced rather than seen. This balance enables each artist to extend their creative expression beyond the stage and throughout the space, creating an ever-evolving atmosphere that brings guests deeper into the spectacle.

Spanning more than 40,000 square feet, XS accommodates 1,840 guests indoors and up to 3,121 guests with its outdoor areas. Since its debut in December 2008, the nightclub has earned numerous accolades, including recognition as a top-grossing U.S. nightclub and multiple Best Nightclub honors from the Southern Nevada Hotel Concierge Association.
