A Highlight of This Year's Concours: The GT1 Specialty Class:
This year's GT1 Specialty Class will celebrate one of the most extraordinary chapters in motorsport history. As endurance racing evolved throughout the 1990s, a new generation of GT1 race cars emerged, pushing the boundaries of engineering, aerodynamics, and performance. By 1997, GT1 had become the ultimate battleground for some of the world's most prestigious automotive manufacturers. Legendary machines such as the McLaren F1 GTR, Porsche 911 GT1, Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR, and Panoz GTR-1 came to define an era when innovation, competition, and automotive design converged at the highest level.
At this year's Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, the GT1 Specialty Class will bring this celebrated era of motorsport to life through a curated presentation of vehicles representing this defining period in racing history.
